Barcode Won't Scan

Check lighting

Make sure the barcode is well-lit. Avoid direct glare on shiny labels — tilt the package slightly if you see a reflection.

Check distance

Hold your phone 6 to 8 inches from the barcode. Too close and the camera cannot focus. Too far and the barcode is too small to read.

Try a different barcode

Most packages have 2-3 barcodes. If one is damaged or hard to scan, try another one on the same package.

Enter manually

If scanning is not working, tap "Enter Manually" to type the tracking number by hand. This always works regardless of barcode condition.

Tips

• Try landscape orientation for long 1D barcodes
• Clean your camera lens if scans are consistently failing
• If the camera is not activating at all, check your browser permissions
