Organize received packages by location, department, or delivery route

Overview

Sort Mode helps you organize received packages into groups for delivery. After packages are logged (especially via Scan & Receive), use Sort Mode to assign them to delivery locations, departments, or routes.

When to use Sort Mode

Sort Mode is most useful for facilities that receive large batches and deliver to multiple locations — campuses, multi-building offices, or residential properties. It turns a pile of unsorted packages into organized groups ready for delivery runs.

How it works

Open Sort Mode from the sidebar. You will see all packages that need sorting. Assign each package to a delivery location or group. Once sorted, packages move to SORTED status and are ready to go out for delivery.

Tips

  • Sort Mode pairs naturally with Scan & Receive — scan fast, sort later
  • Sorted packages appear grouped by location, making delivery runs efficient
  • You can scan a barcode in Sort Mode to quickly find and sort a specific package
